Janet Loo Photography

For those of you who don’t already know, Janet LOO was born in BROOKLYN, NY. She received her first camera when she was a teenager. It was a old manual NIKON given to her by her father. Not understanding what a powerful tool she possessed, she only took pictures for fun. In college, she took a black & white PHOTOGRAPHY class, which sparked a serious interest. She began by photographing landscapes and came to realize that her STRENGTH lies in her ability to capture an emotion, an expression, a decisive moment in everyday life. This has made her a very sought-after PORTRAIT and street photographer. She is SELF-TAUGHT at the art of digital photography and her true PASSION lies in the processing and PRINTING of each photo. She works out of her digital LAB from home.
